Anthony Munoz was an All-American and All-Conference player for the USC Trojans and lead the team to a National Championship in 1978. He was then selected by the Cincinnati Bengals as the third overall pick in the 1980 NFL Draft, and became one of the league’s premier lineman. He led the team to two Super Bowls, three AFC Division titles, and two AFC Championships.
Anthony retired from football in 1997 and was a first ballot selection to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1998. He is also a member of the prestigious NFL’s 75th Anniversary All-Time Team. Over his career, he earned numerous honors including NFL Lineman of the Year, the Athletes in Action Bart Starr Award for Leadership, the Cincinnati Bengals Man of the Year Award for five consecutive years, and the NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.
